Shot List

Alright... So next week we will actually begin working on the real planning for our short film. The good news is that we figured out where we want to film the government control room part. Both Taylor and I are also enrolled in the TV Production class at our school and it also has a control room with switch board with colorful buttons, perfect for a "big brother" type feel, if done right. So what we were thinking was to darken the room and put in LED lights (blue preferably) and put in a fog machine to make the room foggy, but not too foggy, if that makes sense.

Below are some pictures from the control room. But in all honesty, it is probably just as important to plan costume design, especially for the control room (so the government workers are not wearing t shirts) so it comes out as eerie and realistic as possible.

Now that we know what we want the control room to look like we figured out an initial shot list of what we want to get. As we go along we will be adding more to this shot list:

  - Drone shot of protagonist walking
  - Medium shot of government control room
  - Close up of protagonist turning on radio
  - Close up of protagonists ear (when gov. tune in)
  - Extreme long shots of location
  - Medium shots of scenery (lamp post, cars, electrical box)
  - Point of view shots of protagonist
  - Close of shots inside government control room
  - Over the shoulder protagonist driving
  - Drone shot of protagonists car (while driving)
